PIXELS chomp its way to no. 1

Singapore - PIXELS (PG) chomp its way to the top of the box office with US$735,734 from 49 screens (including IMAX 3D) and previews. It scores a so-so screen average of US$11,949.

ATTACK ON TITAN launches on 15 screens with two versions - an edited NC16-rated cut and a M18-rated uncut version. It's the first film to be released with dual ratings simultaneously. Its gross including previews from last weekend stands at US$367,539. Its weekend screen average is a mighty US$19,159 - the highest amongst all releases. Breakdowns according to ratings is not available. The M18-rated version is playing on 6 screens while the other 9 screens are playing the edited NC16 cut.

Other releases outside the top ten include John Woo's THE CROSSING II 太平轮:惊涛挚爱  (PG), PARIS HOLIDAY 巴黎假期 (PG) starring Louis Koo and Amber Kuo; and sci-fi horror HARBINGER DOWN (NC16) (US$14,250 / 7 screens). Figures are indicated where available.
